Reading the retirement thread I notice a significant number of the more mature posters on there (unsurprisingly )

Which got me thinking who are actually the current Mother and Father of NSC.

So come on, step forward, who are our very own Diane Abbott and Sir Edward Leigh ?

The Father and the Mother (of the House) are not the oldest members but the longest, continuously serving ones. Surely, that being the case, the answer is Bozza ( don't know about Mother)

It was the wife’s and she inherited it but, basically, yes.

I'd love to have been at that reading of last will and testimony.

In the House, when two MPs join on the same day, it's who takes the oath first. That's why I said Bozza, he'd have to have been on it to let everyone else on.

Of course, if we're going back to before the Great Reset it would be Manx Seagull (if he's still on here) but, if not him, who else?

I think if we are assigning roles then Manx Seagull was God and Bozza took over the role when Manx Seagull retired if the job of God is actually a job that you can retire from and which can be recruited for then Bozza is it, which means that the Fath.................

Where was I ? ........... BLOODY TURKEYGATE I do remember that
