Kier Starmer is to blame for this. His speech was so badly judged. No recognition at all of the reasonable worries a lot of people have, just an attack on their right to protest. Seems more bothered about defending the perpetrators than our children.
Someone’s drunk the Farage kool aid, the main effect of which is that you politicise the deaths of three innocent young girls.

You’re going on ignore.

Any prat can make a graph.

Always thought it was inaccurate

Good luck with that evolution 😂

You what, you what, you what, 🤷🏻‍♂️
@Giraffe is a Moderator, regrettably you can’t use the ignore feature 😉

I do not worry about individuals being called racists if that is what they are. What should concern many is the alienation felt by those who would be considered Mr or Mrs Average in normal times. It is the constant and derogatory terminology aimed at large parts of those concerned about the changing face of the United Kingdom that allows the uglier side of traditionalists to come to the fore. The woman in the post below no doubt feels her concerns are brushed aside and ignored, and there hundreds of thousands of law abiding citizens that feel the same. By using terminology like ‘far right thug’ and aiming it at all and sundry who feel the same just emboldens the more extreme elements. KS can say that he was not targeting people like this woman, but like it or not, that is how she feels. The violence has to be stopped, but a mature discussion needs to be facilitated to stop the issue just festering and becoming worse. And the insults from the know alls need to stop too.

I always struggle with the integrating thing. What does this look like?

How do we know people are not doing this?
Integrating could have a variety of interpretations. I believe it's a process and not usually a definite single thing. It would include communication, participation, understanding, knowledge and also a willingness for change to occur. These things require reflection as well and this is exceptionally difficult given the lack of self awareness demonstrated by many 'protestors'.

Change your glasses and change your mates by the sounds of it. This will end up just like the twats Jan 6 when they’ll start crying and saying ‘we were fooled’.

what a cringeworthy response , if you count parents of friends visiting from sussex and elsewhere , expat visitors to England and Ireland returning to Australia and friends and relatives who use social media as friends i should change then you obviously are beyond help ,if you think gangs of tooled up Africans going at it in a seaside town in Britain is ok...?? FMD ...!! all the best with the rest of you existence.

well that is the key to it all isn't it ......the indoctrinated morons on both sides , would you say the % is fairly equal or would you way one side outweighs the other..? uneducated folk are far easier to indoctrinate , certain religions base their entire foundation on this.

Whereas gangs of tooled up white folks going at it in a seaside town in Britain is perfectly acceptable of course. I'd be more than happy to deport all of them regardless of race.

Maybe ask the question why does Mrs Average have these views in the first place?
If all she sees is bombs going off at pop concerts on buses and attacks such as Tower bridge & Parliament square it’s not hard to figure out .
People have the right to feel scared and confused to why these tragic events happen.

To simply point a finger and shout racist moron get some education isn’t helping anyone or anything.

Those same white folk who in two weeks time will be using football instead of dead children as their excuse to terrorise other people just because they are wearing a different coloured scaft or shirt to them

My concerns are simple. From afar it seems the UK is pulling itself apart, and it is still my country of birth, my nationality, and my emotional home. Of course I still have many friends and family there too.

I see civil disorder, I see an ever more isolated country trying to come to terms with its new found ‘freedoms’. The actual participants in the rioting are doing no good, they only do harm. The likes of Farage and Robinson are not working to improve the UK, they work only to improve their own lot in life. But I don’t believe that by demonising many uninvolved folk that things will get better, the complete opposite will happen in my view.

I would love to see the UK rejoin the EU, but that would be to trample all over the views of a majority vote at the time. The remainers, mostly centrists and socialists need to accept the democratically expressed views of the referendum for a few more years yet, and stop insulting and criticising those who voted for it. They also need to learn to accept that not everyone has the same opinion, and that to be worried about the effects of immigration does not automatically deserve labelling as fascist/racist/gammon/nazi/extreme right. Tolerance by the majority will rub off onto the minorities.
To be fair, I think most Remainers HAVE accepted the referendum. SKS has said we won’t rejoin in his lifetime. The practical challenges of rejoining are, anyway, immense.
The funny thing is, Brexit hasn’t stopped immigration….largely it’s replaced white Christian immigrants from Western and Central Europe with non-white, less Christian immigrants from further afield.
It’s possibly unfortunate - but that’s one of the pretty inevitable consequences Brexit, because those advocating leaving the EU had no coherent plan for what should happen after Brexit.
Anyway - despite my leftist tendencies, I absolutely agree that immigration needs to be controlled, but let’s do so in a humane way. And let’s have a proper debate which doesn’t demonise those with potentially reasonable concerns about immigration. But those involved in violence and intimidation MUST be punished.

Thunder Bolt

Silly old bat
if she is 59 she will have seen the country of her birth change remarkably in her lifetime .....you think that 5 , 6 , 7 children families is a good thing ???
Tracy is convinced that only Muslim families have lots of children. I can remember living in the north, and it was a common complaint amongst women, that ‘they’ had bigger families than whites.

Statistics showed they were wrong, but it appeared that way, because families were close, and helped each other out. If one of the women were ill, a sister, sister in law, or a cousin would look after the kids at their house.

Truth, as always, took a back seat to gossip.

Why are you posting nonsense? Especially on a football fans forum whom all know it hardly ever kicks off at football these days.
