Should never have happened, sorry if it offends but a man should never fight a woman.
Khelif is not a man, and never has been.

This is not a ā€œtransā€ issue, she was born a woman and still is.

:ROFLMAO: Thank you  Why does she also have a Y chromosome?
She doesnā€™t. At least not in the traditional way.

She is not, and never has been, a man.

This.

However, i jumped to the same conclusion that many have, from the way the story is being discussed on SM and media outlets.

Several hours later, I found out that the term "biological Male" refers to the chromosomes present in Khelif ( natal sex female).
And not a transgender female.

Whilst not disputing that she has physical attributes of a man, which may give her an advantage.
Much of the reporting of this is deliberately slanted to portray her as transgender, which she is not.

Only seen a bit via the BBC link but and it's just my opinion felt sorry for Italy's Angela Carini against what i thought was a very manly looking opponent in Algerian Imane Khelif and a mis match in my eyes, however others may see it differently ?
:lolol: Really? Yet another 'combatative' thread for people to get their chops into, who'da thunk it. Bring on the football season, bring back the Bear Pit.

She failed a gender test on the basis that she has an XY chromosome pair. If that's wrong, and she was born female, and is female, then what on earth is there even a discussion for?

Someone was going to post a thread on this, it's a huge topic of debate.

There are more then just XY and XX chromosomes. There is XXY and XO. XO is usually with a missing sexual chromosome and can go undetected.

Olympic thread?
And then get accused of derailing that thread?

Itā€™s just another thread. You can ignore it. Literally remove it from your screen.

A thread I donā€™t intend to contribute any further to.

You can spin it any way you wish.

Thatā€™s a man. He shouldnā€™t be fighting women.

Olympic thread?

Personally I think it's a bigger topic than that, but if the mods want it in the Olympic thread, I'm sure they'll put it there.
