These shocking scenes i fear are the start of many riots up and down the country, send in the Army i say.
The police has to crank down on this hard. Unfortunately it will only reinforce the narrative in some circles of ‘tier two policing’. They’re in an incredibly difficult situation.

How horribly depressing...

Depressing, but in another sense, you can take some good news from it. The guttersnipes have been filming it to share with their mates. A few of them best set their alarms for 06.30 over the next few days...

Loads of the morons filming each other and posting.

There will be a lot of knocks on doors in the morning.

And as if the police are just going to drive away. They’re coming back, you fuckwits.
Oh and they have, armed with stun grenades, tear gas, dog units and the whole 9 yards.

Isn't that what Anjem Choudary was essentially convicted for today?

I’m thinking of non terror related. An investigative reporter interviewed on LBC, tracked down the original sauce of the one person who created the lie about the Southport attacker.

Imagine being one of those poor parents tonight in Southport raw with grief, staring at an empty bed, hearing police helicopters and sirens, the heartache is unimaginable.

Worse, these people would make out they are doing it because of your poor child. In their name. To stop the specious “enemy” from doing it again. Although we know that’s all bs.

I think knowingly spreading false information that leads to civil unrest or puts anyone in danger should be a criminal offence. The law would need to be carefully crafted, but in the modern age it is needed. I'm talking situations like this, not silly transfer rumours.
