The dull part of the south coast
Some of the comments on here are hilarious. I’m sure it’s all going to plan so why not wait until the f***ing thing is built before passing judgement. It reminds me of the fan who complained when the Amex was completed and he chose a seat at the front - he then complained that no one at the club had warned him that he might get wet if it rained.

So with the first home game less than 4 weeks away (ignoring the friendly which will be mostly empty seats) it's hard to see the building site not causing a logistical headache. What a mess.
why will it cause logistical headaches when the footprint will be exactly the same as for the last games last year and it caused no problems, the barriers are further out to allow more room to work on the site but they will bring them in for the games, In what way is it a mess?

I dont understand the negativity on here about an improvement to facilities to outside the ground. Leave it as it was "fans" complain about facilities, build something to improve that and there is this "its a mess, its a headache" etc. What exactly would you like the club to during this developement that they arent doing?

Well yeh, I mean at least wait till it's built. If you've gone to it and want to slate it then, then fair enough

Apparently they accidentally printed all the drawings at A3 instead of A0 and built it to scale.

Look at the photo above. That is a very different 'footprint' in the North East corner and a lot narrower than it was in May. Maybe it's camera trickery in which case i apologise. I don't think so though.

Sussex but not by the sea
If I remember it is going to have 2 floors?
The main structure is likely being made off site so I'd expect it to be constructed very quickly once the site is ready for it, obviously it then needs to be fitted out which will take some time. I think the club said it should be ready Oct/Nov which looks about right.

I still want to understand this predominantly for home fans bit, or whatever the phraseology used.
It is, or it isn't.

Away fans are fine if they're from small northern/midlands clubs, but nobody big or from london aside from nice benign clubs.

No: Spurs, arsenal, chelsea, west ham, Palace, Man Utd, City perhaps, Liverpool, and occasional cup fixtures like Portsmouth, Millwall etc

Yes: pretty much everyone else. They'll blame 'police advice' if in any doubt.
