I normally find a little fluttering of the eye lashes, and maybe a little wiggle are more effective.
Nasty symptoms for the OP. I’ve also tested positive this week, with the added bonus of a gout attack. Last time I got gout was in 2021, which was also when I last had Covid. Had no idea one could trigger the other, or just an unfortunate coincidence? No gout attacks in between.
Covid is everywhere at the moment. Not sure officials want to talk about it in case the spook everyone.
I caught it at the euros so can imagine a lot of it has been brought back from that

I think I had Covid last week, felt terrible last weekend and the first couple of days this week. Feel like I have a hangover though each day since and my head, throat and chest still hurt a lot. A few colleagues at work had it, confirmed tested, and so I presume I had it as well. Get well soon @Clive Walker!

COVID us currently rampaging through the population, the Euros and all the lack of social distancing indoors in bars and pubs won't have helped. The Olympics is likely to be another super spreader event.

Mrs Wz had Covid about a month ago. She felt rough for a couple of days but nothing to compare it to as she hadn't had Covid before

Should you be boxing if you don't feel at all well?
My 12 month old granddaughter had it a few weeks back and was kept in hospital overnight. Thankfully she's back to her normal self now.
I know plenty of people who've had it recently or have it at the moment and I would say that 99% are thankfully experiencing much less severe symptoms.
I've a crappy job where I meet plenty of people and I clean as much as I can of the shared workspace each morning as I come on shift. I wash and disinfect my hands with an alcohol based hand cleaner regularly but I know it's just a matter of time.

in all seriousness COVID a hasn’t gone away ( I am getting my next jab in the next couple of weeks ) and although it is not the killer for healthy people, it is still not nice for people with underlying conditions.
there are a lot of people now on planes and in airports and cruise terminals who wear masks ….. we heard of an American family who flew to Europe to pick up a cruise and arrived on the ship…started feeling unwell…went to see the doctor ($2800) who tested them ($800) and 4 of the 5 tested positive for COVID and they were confined to their cabins for 6 of the 8 day cruise. When they got off in Istanbul, they had to admit they had been confined but tested clear, and the Turkish authorities put them on the next flight back to the US. Which their travel insurance didn’t cover the costs of flights, or the cancellation of their few days in Istanbul.

When we were kids in Scotland, we used to all get sent to hospital aged about 5 or 6 to have our tonsils and adenoids removed as standard. WTF?! Anyways, we'd then get put on a diet of just-about-melting vanilla ice cream til the rawness subsided. Maybe worth a try? Can't vouch for its nutritional content, mind
My son's friend's band's name was "Covid FLiRT" but for some reason they couldn't get many people to come to their performances.
I've met at least one person who said he had hallucinations with covid.
More specifically, he was apparently lying in bed with mathematical equations flying through his head like that meme.
Bearing in mind that the man in question was an ecologist with no interest or particular interest in maths that I'm aware of.
I have been suffering from a cough since Mid-April, although it’s not actually the same cough as it varies between a “productive” and “dry”. My shoulder blade also has been painful off and on for some of this period, and for a time I also had sore knees! All the Covid tests that I have taken have been negative!
As an Asthmatic and Crohn’s sufferer, I have been to the doctors on several occasions and apart from diagnosing “Tracheitis” they have been unable to suggest what is causing this.
To date, I have had 3 courses of anti-biotics and a course of Steroids, none of which have made any difference. I have had a chest x-ray which came back clear.
Whenever I was on the medication, I had to stop taking my Crohn’s meds which caused a flare up of this condition as well.
I am currently waiting for an appointment with the respiratory doctor, but my GP said that the cough may have cleared up by the time that an appointment becomes available.
