A French journalist on 5Live this morning was happy to try and pin it on the Russians.

I'm going to stick with that as my working hypothesis.
Honestly....the French don't need any help or encouragement from the Russians to have a protest....:D:D:D

Very odd that no group has come forward to claim responsibility for it all. Not much of a protest if you don't declare what you are protesting against.

Back in Sussex
wouldn’t happen in Germany at the Euros.
At the beginning of the Euros, one of the 5Live presenters was talking to a local journalist about how he was looking forward to travelling around the country on the train.

The journalist told him he was in for a shock as, contrary to the cliched view of German efficiency, German trains are shocking.

By the end of the Euros, the whole 5Live team were fed up with German trains, their frequent lengthy delays and cancellations.

TL;DR - it seems the Germans didn't need sabotage to f*** their trains up.

Makes it more sinister (if possible) and could point to the Russians?
Kirill Griaznov, Russian lawyer-turned-chef, was directed by the Kremlin’s intelligence services to stage “large-scale” acts of “destabilization” at the opening of the Olympic Games in France on July 26.

Were there more?
