Mine says 2012 but it's a second account, no idea what happened to the first one but that was early 2000's.
A mere 4800 posts for me. Must try harder.

I think the earliest you can be a user on the current iteration is sometime in 2003.

I was however a user on the first day of the first NSC back in early 1997, a fact that I am quite proud of and will never tire of telling people on here!
Was that the old Seagulls Server version?
I was on that in 97 but can’t recall what my user name was on that incarnation.

I didn’t actually know more than a couple of friends who were even on the Internet in 1997.
I remember showing my mate how I could download the Blur video for ‘Sunday Sunday’ on my new computer which had Intel Pentium 1 - it took 3 hours 😂

I remember the binfest that occurred when Bozza reset the accounts, and more than a few people/saddos were unhappy they'd lost their posting totals :( 21 years ago, wow! :rave::):rave:

I've just noticed tomorrow is my 20th Anniversary of being on 'the new NSC'

Just shy of 10,000 posts - where the **** has the last 20 years gone - can't believe we've been at The Amex for 11 years!

Certainly seen some changes at The Albion, on and off the pitch in the last 20 years.
f***ing JCL.

Didn't need a fixed user name back then. I was FAV666.

Anyone know what happened to Ryan Harding who started the 'other' mailing list? He had a brother caller Bryan. I think he had a Donny Rovers affiliation.

Yes it was. Before the NSC forum, there was a guestbook for the site that had loads of supportive messages from other fans about our plight and also served as a general discussion forum for BHA fans, and that was where Richard Vaughan came up with the suggestion for Fans Utd.

The guy that administered the site, @Mancgull??, then put an additional discussion forum with a thread-tree format - the original NSC. This definitely happened prior to Fans Utd, which was early 1997, so the birth of NSC may well have been in late 1996.

The only people I knew that had internet access at that time were university students, like me.

I don't think @Bozza was responsible for that particular incident!

It was @ManxSeagull I believe.

In 1997 as a student I went to an away game with a real life human I met on NSC. I don't think I made much of an impression because we didn't do it again 😆.

Happy Anniversary Mellor 3 Ward 4! You make me look like a relative non-contributor. I am also 20 years on and in this NSC Parish but have posted about 1/2 as much as you have!

It really is a great forum for nonsense, sense, incense and, most importantly, Albion related stuff.

Break open the champers!
