Watkins has just knocked me out of the competition for the first time.

Think I can live with it.

Congratulation @Jim D well played :clap2:

Good luck to the finalists. Shame there's not a Group B entrant to cheer on.

At least by continuing to predict, I now know that I wouldn't have made it this far no matter how many chances I'd have been given!

Thanks Mr T. I just had a hunch that, after all the extra time in the quarters, the semis would be done in normal time - it was mighty close though. As for the final, Spain must be big favourites, especially with a day more of recovery time. But England have been muddling their way through game by game and you can't write them off. my hunch is that they'll keep on muddling through....

matches
Spain v England

Predictions in by 7.59 on Sunday.

You can still play a joker but it will be on a single prediction, for example yellow cards or 1st goal - just place some asterisks or write joker next to where you will play it. Some extra predictions to play:
1. Total shots on target
2. Total shots off target
3. Possession
4. Tiebreaker - shirt number

Scoring for the above:
1. If total correct that is the number points scored, if two off either side then it will be half the total.
2. As above
3. Possession - write as 55-45 if Spain have a larger total or 45-55 if you think England will - 5 points for correct total, 2 points for correct total but wrong way round, 1 point for correctly guessing which side had most possession.
4. Only comes into play if both sides are level after all their predictions - predict the shirt number of the player who scores the final goal or penalty if match ends goalless. 1 point for correct or nearest guess

So, the ref for tomorrows game is a Frenchman who recently awarded a penalty for a foul that occurred outside the box. I can recall something like that happening to us (BHA). Where do they get these people from?

Hooper gave Bournemouth a penalty for a handball outside the area. What made it really annoying, was that it was the Bournemouth player who handballed it.

That one, but wasn't there also one at Southampton, when our Argie assistant manager was also sent off for pointing it out?
