[Misc] All Hail The Ignore User Option

I don't/didn't use the 'ignore member' option much - just around the time of Brexit some remainers (not the decent ones) got really vitriolic and abusive and justifiably got shunted into touch; discussion and disagreement are fine - it was just those that went over the line. Since then, I've often used the function to view their posts on other topics, and in many cases (but not quite all - there's still a few I regard as foul-mouthed shouty and abusive.............and, frankly, a bit thick!) I've unblocked them.
On the other hand, the ignore thread function is a godsend. I have, for instance, no interest in the NFL or formula1 - into the bin they go! Similarly, discussion about local Brighton (non Albion) matters - I've no interest; I don't live there, and all my relatives that did live there and I kept in touch with are now dead. Just means I don't have my screen filled up with threads I've got no interest in (and yes, most of Crodo's threads get the boot, but I haven't got Crodo on ignore!)

No - there is no such list.Can you see the most ignored threads?
I'm sure I could delve into the database and compile one, but I'm lacking the motivation to do that right now.
It wouldn't be fair to show a list of those who are ignored the most.Release theEpsteinNSC List.

Yep, it was certainly available on vBulletin. I think I only ever put two users on ignore; one was simply insufferable and the other was a wind-up merchant Palace fan.

Actually, I've just checked my "Ignoring" list. I had igored six users in total; five of them are now showing as banned and one hasn't posted for over five years!

To be honest, I have taken to look at how to block every thread that isn’t about football……imagine that. A football message board just about football. Who would have thunked it!

Quick tekkie question. Can you set your opening page to be the “ Albion only threads” in settings, when you open nsc or do you always have to go to the main board screen

It’s a good question, I fear you can’t set the Big board to default to Albion Only threads so each time you open up you have to select the big box that says ‘Albion Only’

Just create a bookmark or a desktop shortcut to point to the Albion only threads page.
You could even set a tab to open to that page by default when you open your browser.
Direct link to the Albion only page (just copy and paste without the quotation marks).
