I wonder why he doesn't mention in his Reform Party election literature the fact he was arrested, charged and banned for a year for drink driving in 2021, then subsequently charged for driving whilst disqualified and failing to provide a blood sample resulting in 200 hours community service, a fine and a further 3 year ban from driving, or that he was expelled from the Tory party for allegedly making physical threats to a colleague?

Well I am sure that was @carlzeiss's intention when he posted the link to his Reform webpage. He was obviously trying to highlight how Reform has done it again and got yet another wrong 'un as a candidate, don't you think

TBF, in his own words he has a:

"...deep respect for traditional British values and believe in their enduring importance. As we navigate through the complexities of modern society, I am committed to restoring and preserving these values, ensuring they remain an integral part of our community's identity."

And what could be more traditionally British than ensuring that drink driving and threats of physical violence are preserved and not stamped out by the wokes?

Although, I wonder if he is getting confused with his 200 hours community service and being "...deeply involved in volunteering activities within the local community" he talks about?

yes my 18 year old nephew has voted Reform. Think a lot of that generation, particularly boys, are quite socially conservative in their views- add to that they've lived almost exclusively under a Tory government which has been, well, shit- so no surprise they'd be lured over to the Reform side

I think it is a surprise as I expected the youth vote to be overwhelmingly Lab/Lib/Green, particularly with the climate brainwashing of the last few decades. We'll all get to experience the horrors of preparing for net zero over the next five years so there might well be a massive backlash in 2029 from the young and poor who will be most affected by the green nonsense.

the only one I ever knew of was my A Level politics teacher who was a Lib Dem councillor (and a prominent anti-Falmer one at that)
