Someone who called into R5 this morning, a 70 year old retired accountant, claimed that neither Labour not Tory have revealed anything about what they plan to do. This is complete and utter nonsense, but seems to have become a trope.
We know what the Tories will do - we have had 14 years to observe how they operate. Labour have published a detailed manifesto. When Starmer tries to explain Labour policies he is interrupted because nobody wants to listen to boring detail, or nuance.
Stop the boats! People understand that.
Luckily a large number of people have decided to vote Labour, based on Starmer's actions and aspirations and the cut of his jib, with a backdrop of 14 years of tory failure for comparison, and have stopped listening to all this bollocks.

Agreed on both points but, as to the first, I strongly doubt that m/any of them will watch it. If they watch anything, it'll be GB News and they'll read The Sun, Star, Express or if they're really sophisticated The Mail -- and doubt an item on C4News is going to make their pages.

I must admit I'm having second thoughts about continuing my 'Not every Reform supporter is thick' campaign. To be honest, it didn't start particularly well and has dipped a bit since but Nige's statements today have got me thinking.
When he says that the reason Reform supporters come out with racist and homophobic stuff is 'because they didn't go to Oxford' and that his candidates aren't 'politically sophisticated' it makes me wonder that, if he thinks so little of them, maybe my time would be better spent on another worthwhile campaign
