Another attempted hit-piece.

I don't agree with the chant, but our own media love any chance to tar English fans.

We've seen a fantastic Euro's so far, from the Orange Army in Hamburg, to the Scots and the Turkish fans. Yet ours are vilified at every opportunity. Quite sad really.

I love that footage of around 20,000 orange clad Dutch doing that left right thingy. Very funny.

To be fair, the UK media has also covered the unsavory elements from other nations like the dutch guys blacking up and the punch up during one of the games.

Best set of fixtures so far, in that fairly even match ups.
It’s going to be a good day of soccering. It’s taken me a while to get my Euro mojo but I’m up for it now.

Slovenia vs Serbia should be good, think Slovenia should be able to stand up pretty well against the Serbians.
England v Denmark is bound to be a very boring and stale game. Both teams are a lot more careful than they should and could be.
Spain vs Italy... what a game that could be!

Serbia fined for their fans' behaviour - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cnkkn5gq254o - and one of the other Eastern European countries too (Albania?) Nice little earner for UEFA ...................
Serbia threatening to withdraw from the competition because the Albanian and Croatian fans sang nasty things about them.

a) You’re going out anyway, and
b) it’s nice to see a bit of unity in The Balkans for a change 😂

England lowlife embarrassing themselves again in Frankfurt last evening, complete with masks of their führer. The images were first shared on Twitter by a character called Jake Hepple.

Prepare to be shocked: Hepple is a known acquaintance of Steven Yaxley-Lennon aka Tommy Robinson and.....prepare to be shocked more, also a Burnley supporter. These oiks are also believed to be Burnley supporters. Who'd have believed it eh.....

Is that flag for real?!
I had my doubts. But apparently, yes. I also discovered in the last few minutes - remember the chartered light aircraft at Man City v Burnley a few years back with the banner 'white lives matter'? Guess who chartered it. Hepple apparently has a life ban from Burnley for that stunt.

That's no way to talk about our boys who many in this country would consider patriots. They are drinking and quite literally sometimes fighting for yous and mines's freedom to sit here and watch the footie. They are on the front line, in Germany. Show some respect. Heroes.

Followed by Canada vs Argentina in the Copa America. I've got my day planned out.

Managed to plan my work day in a manner that allows me to watch both the England and Canada matches before some night time field work (avoiding the ridiculous heat and humidity we’re currently experiencing). Win!
