Idgaf as to legality of the gambling site inside or outside of Vietnam.

I’m just sick of the absolutely constant pure stuffing of anything and everything gambling down every football supporters throat.

All the ads, be it on sports-radio, at the ground, on the shirts, in the papers, it’s suffocating and beyond irritating.

One day, all gambling ads associated with any child (or family)-friendly sports, will be banned outright in this country. But there’s currently SO MUCH MONEY involved in its operation, that pure greed is keeping it in play.

Sick of it.

I think / hope we'll get to a point where we look at gambling and the ubiquitous nature of the adverts in the same way we now look at smoking and smoking adverts, especially how common they used to be in sport.

A quite incredible epic balls up from palace, surely they either have to release a statement saying this is all wrong or scrap the deal and apologise for not doing their due diligence

Surely most of us already do though?

Though I could be naive or ignorant about it.

- Is casual, low-stakes football betting (maybe accumulators) still popular within friendship circles?

In my experience more people are indifferent to it than offended by it unfortunately

I'm constantly moaning to my son about the ad's on gambling when the football is on tv & giving a mini lecture about how bad it can get. Then I ask him if he wants to put £2 on the Grand National after I've put £15 (combined) on 9 different horses. 🤦‍♀️
There is a lad in his college that bets on the horses and football, he does the horse bets while in college. I get the impression that he's not been particularly successful in either but claims to know the dead certs etc.
Football match gambling is really popular in the 18-30 group, I don't know about the stakes involved though.
